Yes. WorldLangAmerica is open to independent learners as well as students enrolled in language courses. You don’t need to be part of a class to participate.

WorldLangAmerica is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all participants. If a partnership is not working effectively, students are encouraged to notify our team. We will review the situation and, when appropriate, facilitate a partner or group change to ensure continued progress and engagement in the program.

First-time participants can join at a discounted rate starting at $45, giving you the opportunity to try the program with minimal upfront commitment. After your first exchange, the standard self-funded price is $55 per 10-week session. Students whose universities offer partial sponsorship may pay a reduced fee.

Students whose universities are WorldLangAmerica members pay only $20 per 10-week program. You can check your university’s membership status during signup or by contacting your professor or language department.

Absolutely! Many students return for multiple exchanges to continue improving their language skills. Subsequent 10-week sessions are $55 for self-funded participants, with reduced fees available for those whose universities offer partial sponsorship.
